The Freedom From Religion Foundation works as an umbrella for those who are free from religion and are committed to the cherished principle of separation of state and church. As FFRF’s principal founder Anne Gaylor noted, “To be free from religion is an advantage for individuals; it is a necessity for government.”

On Sunday, March 5, 2023, we will gather in person at Somers Lounge on the campus of the College of St. Scholastica for the last time. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. The meeting will begin at 10:00 with some announcements and a Five-Minute Reflection by one of our members. This month it is expected we will hear from David Cole about a famous and important philosopher. Then we’ll have the main presentation from Attorney Cavell of the FFRF, followed by a question and answer session. After that, we’ll head downstairs for brunch and further discussion. We’ll save you a seat!
