Howard D. Mooers is a professor in the Department of Geology within the Swenson College of Science and Engineering at the University of Minnesota Duluth. He has a doctorate from our satellite campus in the Twin Cities and has been a Fellow of the Geological Society of America since 1997.
He has presented numerous conference papers and published in journals such as Limnology and Oceanography, Quarternary Research, and the Canadian Journal of Earth Sciences.
